Partner cities

The City of Bautzen maintains special relationships with 5 cities in Europe. These are the cities of Worms (since 1990) and Heidelberg (since 1991) in Germany, Dreux (since 1992) in France, Jablonecnad Nisou (since 1993) in the Czech Republic, and Jelenia Gora (since 1993) in Poland.

These urban partnerships are expressed primarily through the commitment of the citizens of these cities. In order to facilitate the diversity of relationships in various fields, a number of friendship groups and a City Partnership Association have been established.
