Important subsidiaries of the high-quality brands Edding and DIPLOMAT are located in the region around Bautzen: The Edding V. D. Ledermann & Co. GmbH and the Diplomat Cunewalde GmbH. The Bautzen based Edding subsidiary V. D. Ledermann has an especially important status. Bautzen is the sole production location of the Edding AG for their worldwide distributed products. As a “competence centre” it is responsible for product development and production of machine tools for the company’s manufacturing plants.
